A new and innovative product designed in conjunction with Ian Petch, primarily for pike, but suitable for many species particularly zander and eels.r
A shallow padded trough designed to reduce fish movement and enable the angler to straddle the fish for unhooking.r
Constructed along the same lines as our Rigid Flat Pack Cradle Mat enabling it to be folded flat for easy storage and transportation.r
The Trough is padded and lined with a fish friendly material throughout. There is a removable padded kneeling mat for use when unhooking and photographing or just increasing the internal mat thickness when not otherwise in use.r
The Trough can be used in its erect format or unfolded and laid flat depending on the fishing situation.r
The ends can be folded down for safe and easy release in the margins or side of the boat when fully recovered.r
Another useful feature whilst boat fishing is the outer side slots enabling net poles or similar to be threaded. The trough then can be suspended widthways across the inside of the boat. The slim design of the trough enables it to be left in the upright positon whilst boat fishing as it takes up little space, although assembling from flat takes very little time.r
The Trough is supplied in its own carry bag, which has a useful side pocket for kneeling mat and weigh slings, etc.r
Complete with carry handles and adjustable shoulder strap, making transportation a simple task.r
